Can messi handle premier league?
I think it will be hard for messi to develop his dribbling at premier league as it is the best league in the world. Messi is still yet to score against an English team as he has not achieved this yet, is it because EPL is too good for him to perform in. I think plays great in England but cannot find himself in the scoresheet. I think this because of the defense of EPL and how they will be focused on messi. Ronaldo managed to score 42 goals in the 2007-08 season, i doubt messi would barely make 30 goals a season. This could also be the question can messi only perform in barcelona, do you think he would do well in a team like man city without the likes of xavi and iniesta. David silva is currently doing well in his first consistent season. it does not matter about statistics, i mean look at iniesta his statistics are below par but that does not stop him from being an incredible football player

Just unleash the likes of Bramble and Shawcross etc. on him. Then we’ll see how good he is. After a few weeks in England he’ll probably be too afraid to dribble.

You fail to recognise the point. The asker is not saying that the Premier League is better than La Liga (everyone knows that anyway) he’s saying Messi would be chopped to bits should he ever turn up at the Britannia Stadium, St. James Park, St. Andrews or Ewood Park.
